The mission of the blood center is to provide a safe and adequate supply of blood to the patients we serve. To achieve this mission, sixty to seventy donors are needed daily.

The bloodmobile visits Crescent City on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of the month.
The bloodmobile will also be in Fortuna on the 1st Wednesday of each month.
We regularly visit other communities in Humboldt and Del Norte Counties.

The U.S. and Europe Expand Blood Ties NCCBB’s Thomas Schallert signed a new three-year agreement between the European Blood Alliance (EBA) and America’s Blood Centers of which he is president. As a result, America’s Blood Centers and EBA will continue to share information regarding new policies and regulatory changes in blood banking, while collaborating on projects such as benchmarking, regulatory convergence and supply-chain management. |
