A business, school, faith group, or civic club hosts us and tells the people who already trust them that donating matters — we bring the staff, the equipment, and the snacks. Sponsorship can also be a financial gift, or a legacy donation left in your will, and every one of them keeps blood close to the patients who need it.

Platelet Perks sponsors
For every 10 units donated, our platelet donors earn a Platelet Perk — usually a gift card worth around $25 or a pass to the Sequoia Park Zoo. Platelet donors give a little extra time, so these generous local businesses give a little something back.

Sponsorship goes well beyond hosting a drive.
Hosting a Bloodmobile drive is the most visible way to back us — but it is far from the only way. Families, foundations, and businesses sponsor this nonprofit blood center in several other ways, and every one of them keeps blood products ready for the patients in our counties.
Legacy & planned gifts
Leave the Northern California Community Blood Bank in your will or estate plans, or set up a planned gift that supports blood collection for years to come. We are glad to talk it through with you and your advisor — quietly, and with no obligation.
Memorial & tribute gifts
Give in honor or in memory of someone you love. We send an acknowledgement to the family, and their name carries forward in the care their gift helps provide.
Financial gifts & our freezer campaign
Give once or monthly, by card through PayPal or by check. Our current campaign replaces an aging ultra-cold freezer that keeps plasma safely stored for the hospitals that serve our region.
Volunteer your time
Canteen, donor greeter, drive assistant, Bloodmobile driver — volunteers keep drive days running smoothly, and there is always room for more hands across Humboldt and Del Norte counties.
