We're hiring: two Donor Care Specialist roles in Eureka

The Northern California Community Blood Bank is growing its donor services team, and we have two openings for people who like meeting neighbors from all over the North Coast: a Donor Care Specialist and a Donor Care Specialist/Bloodmobile Driver.

Donor Care Specialists are the people donors remember. You'll register donors, take vital signs, draw blood, and work both in our Eureka donor center and at mobile blood drives throughout Humboldt and Del Norte counties. On-the-job training is provided — including phlebotomy — so prior clinical experience isn't required, just genuine warmth and reliability.

The Bloodmobile Driver version of the role adds our mobile unit to the mix. You'll drive and maintain the Bloodmobile, set up at schools, businesses, and community centers, and then help run the drive once you arrive. It's the role that makes it possible for people to give close to home.

Availability Monday through Saturday and schedule flexibility are required, and both roles need a valid California driver's license, a clean driving record, and current CPR certification (provided on the job).
